Our location has a picturesque view of the harbour area, river boat
traffic, and the Bascule bridge. This is the closest proximity to all
marinas and a very short walking distance to the downtown beach.

The architectural design and details of the buildings
will borrow from the history of seaside/lakeside architecture of the
cottage colonies of New England. Balconies, bays and large windows will
take advantage of the lakeside views and breezes as well as add to the
overall character of the project.
There are different housing types within the project. Bungalow and bungalow-loft
town homes will line the private street. These will be of a pedestrian
friendly height with a mix of roof styles to further lessen the scale
of the buildings. There will also be a variety of plan layouts, including
walk-out units, to deal with the specific grading issues of this site.
Our goal is to vary the town home designs to give the individual units
as much of their own character as possible and to avoid the usual monotony
of town home projects.
The remainder of the units in the project are within an apartment building
tucked to the rear, under the land ridge that overshadows this part
of the site. Balconies, bays and interesting rooflines will be an important
part of this building. As with the town homes, we wish to lessen the
scale of the building by breaking up the massing with architectural
features which in turn will create interest for the units within the
building.
All these features will create a unique community of homes appropriate
to the scale and charm of Port Dover and we believe, will set a standard
for projects to come.
